Two famous Fifths from the Slavonic symphonic repertoire –those of P. I. Tchaikovsky and D. Shostakovich– will be performed by the artists most closely identified with their style and content: the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, under the baton of the conductor and violinist Vladimir Spivakov.
