Palau

The new Plaça del Palau offers an open-air space surrounded by the exterior facades of the Palau de la Música Catalana. Opening directly onto the ground floor Foyer, the square affords exceptional views of all the contrasting splendour of the two architectures of the Palau de la Música Catalana. It has become a popular meeting place where visitors enjoy our terrace and bar service throughout the day.

When the weather's nice it is a wonderful place to hold a luncheon and adds to the seating capacity of the Foyer floor. A marquee can be put up if the event requires it. It is also suitable for festivals, exhibitions, etc.

Original and innovative lighting designed by the architect Òscar Tusquets has recently been installed.

Part of the square is comprised of grandstands in order to accommodate musical performances and popular festivals that call for an open-air setting.

SECOND FLOOR BAR

This is a space located on the second floor of the Concert Hall. It is a rest area during performances. It modernist style allows personal gatherings in a very unique setting. The room is connected to the “Segle XXI” Area of the new Petit Palau building, which allows it increased capacity and affords excellent possibilities for the celebration of any type of event.

BASEMENT REHEARSAL HALL

The practice space of the Orfeó Català (Catalan Choral Society) offers numerous possibilities for holding press conferences, presentations, music workshops, work meetings or small musical performances.

Located on the ground floor of the Palau de la Música annex building, it opens onto the multi–purpose room of the Petit Palau.
