Consortium of the Palau de la Música Catalana
Founded on the 8th of April 1983, the Consortium of the Palau de la Música Catalana represents an exemplary case of collaboration between public administrations and the private arena.
During its history, the Palau has been managed by means of different formulas according to the needs and possibilities at each point in time. Today, the administration of the building and management and use of the concert hall is entrusted to the Consortium of the Palau de la Música Catalana made up of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Barcelona City Council, the Ministry of Culture and the Orfeó Catalanà (Catalan Choral Society), as the owning organisation of the building.
The Consortium board is currently presided over by the honourable José Montilla, President of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and its Executive Committee is led by Ms. Mariona Carulla i Font, President of the Orfeó Català.
